Mary E. Blessington (nee Crawford), 95, of Lincoln University and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on September 18, 2018 at Twin Pines Nursing Home.
Born in 1923, she was the daughter of Walter and Mildred Frances (Hagen) Crawford.
Mary was very active with St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Drexel Hill and worked as an Administrative Assistant there for many years.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed ceramics and crafts. She was very family oriented and devoted to taking care of them.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Philip J. Blessington; loving mother of Mary Pinto (Vincent), Patricia M. Blessington, Philip J. III (Renée), Beth Schultz (Rich), Fran McElhenney (Gerard, Sr.), Michael P. (Trish), Peggy DiEmedio (John), Shirley A. Williams (Michael), the late Dorothy A. Quavillon and the late Millie Gallop; loving grandmother of 36 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Margaret Fatchaline and David Crawford.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at Sacred Heart Church, 203 Church Rd, Oxford, PA 19363 followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
