Mary Carr

Mary Carr (nee Willard), age 69, of Stowe, PA, formerly of Upper Darby and Clifton Heights, PA, passed away on July 27, 2022. Mary was the daughter of the late Eugene Aloysius Willard, Sr. and Theresa Willard (nee Brennan).  

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Christopher L. Carr, Sr. and her brother, Bernard Willard. She is survived by her loving children Theresa Dougherty, Susan DiMauro, Christopher L. Carr, Jr. (Shelly), Jason Peterson (Christine), Ellen Penot (Richard), Jason M. Carr (Nicole) and Angelina Marie Willard. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and her siblings Eugene Willard, Jr., Mark Willard, Walter Willard, and Joseph Willard.

Mary had been employed for many years as a Pharmacy Technician at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. All who knew Mary loved her. She was loving, funny, kind, and she genuinely cared for people. Mary was always there to help anyone who needed it. Mary loved to garden and spent many hours outside taking care of her plants. She also cared very deeply for animals, especially her beloved cat, Sapphire.

Mary had a style all her own, loved to decorate, and her home was a safe haven to all that she loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, August 2, 2022 9:00-10:45 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
