Mary Cedrone

January 12, 1923 — November 8, 2014

Mary T. Cedrone, 91, of Bryn Mawr, PA, and Ocean City, NJ. She died peacefully at Paoli Hospital with her family by her side. One of seven children, Mrs. Cedrone was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from West Catholic Girls' High School. One of her first jobs was contributing to the WWII efforts by working at the Philadelphia Armory. She married her high school sweetheart, Gerald J. Cedrone, after WWII, and began a successful full time career of sixty-seven years as loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She will always be remembered for the love and laughter that she engendered in whomever she met and for the gentility of her soul. She possessed amazing culinary talents and both her cooking and baking skills brought pleasure to family and friends for many years.



Widowed in 2010, she is survived by her loving children Francine A. Cedrone M.D. (Howard S. Caplan M.D.), Geraldine M. Cedrone, Daniel G. Cedrone, Esq., brother-in-law Anthony Cedrone (Claire), and many loving nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, November 13, 2014 8:30-10:00 A.M. The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM St. Thomas of Villanova Church on Campus of Villanova University, Villanova, PA. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
