Mary Jessica Comfort

Mary Jessica Comfort, age 91, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on December 15, 2023. Born in 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late Fredrick Delannoy and Alberta Comfort.

Mary J. grew up as an only child on the Comfort farm in East Nantmeal Township where she loved riding horses much like her father who served in the US Army Cavalry. She enjoyed a life of adventure and traveled all over the world. Mary J. was a very well-known and accomplished artist, she loved painting and photography. One of her passions was sharing her love of art with others and teaching at the Vincent J. Owens School District. Mary J. was an avid ice skater and often competed in competitions.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 West Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park.
