Mary Murphy

Mary “Eileen” Murphy (née Glacken), 69, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on February 19, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1952, Eileen was the daughter of the late William and Emma (née Regan) Glacken.

Eileen worked as an esteemed Realtor throughout Delaware and Chester counties, helping many clients find their dream home over the years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the shore, especially at their home in Long Beach Island, NJ.

She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Murphy; loving mother of Michael J. Murphy Jr.; devoted grandmother of Sloane and Meade; dear sister of Loretta Green; and sister-in-law of Carol Glacken. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William T. Glacken.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2022 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382 followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
