Mary Flanagan

June 17, 1965 — November 11, 2016

Mary Frances Flanagan, 51, of Coatesville, passed away Friday November 11, 2016 surrounded by her family.



Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Audrey (Boyd) Lively of Columbia and the late J. Charles Mowrer.



For the last seven years Fran has been an employee of Wegmans. She worked in multiple perishable food departments, and loved working for the company and those she worked with. During her sixteen years in Florida, she was a small business owner. She owned a pest control company called Greatfully Dead Pest Management. She loved living in Florida, going to the beach, reading, and building puzzles. She was also a huge NCIS fan, and owned every episode.



Her family was the most important part of Fran's life. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. Being a Nana brought her great happiness.



Surviving in addition to her mother are three children: Heather E. Flanagan, Coatesville; Shannon M. Flanagan, Downingtown; Sean P. Flanagan, Coatesville; two grandchildren: Jaxson Cautin, Coatesville; Lillian Flanagan, Downingtown, and eight brothers and sisters: Cathy, married to Richard Shiley, Lancaster; J. Charles Mowrer III, married to Brenda Mowrer, Waterville; Terri, married to Tod Gilmore, Downingtown; Jen Hollinger, Columbia; Glenn, married to Marianne Mowrer, Mountville, Thomas, married to Jane Mowrer, Knoxville, TN; Stan, married to Terri Mowrer, Maytown; Marge Mowrer, Akron; and 21 nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by a brother, David Mowrer, a sister, Patricia Watkins, and her step father, Gordon Lively.



Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday November 18, 2016 at Grace Covenant Church located at 444 Creamery Way, Exton, PA 19341, followed by her Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the church.
