Mary Eileen Frasca (nee Kiernan)

Eileen Frasca was born in Jersey City, NJ and spent her formative years in Verona, NJ. She graduated from Mount St. Dominic Academy and received a B.A. degree from Caldwell College for Women and a B.S. degree from Newark Teachers College. She taught First and Third Grades in Verona and West Caldwell School Systems. She met her husband, Louis, while singing in a church choir and they were married in 1952. They first settled in Whippany, NJ and raised 3 daughters, Joanne, Patricia and Ellen, in West Caldwell, NJ. When the girls left home, they moved to Rossmoor, an Adult Community in Monroe Township, NJ. While living there, Eileen wrote, edited and printed a monthly Newsletter for the Kiwanis Club. She had a passion for writing, singing and duplicate bridge. Her move to White Horse Village was prompted by her desire to be near family in Haverford, PA.

Eileen was the beloved wife of Louis A. Frasca, Jr. for nearly 45 years; loving mother of Joanne M. Frasca (John Cochrane), Patricia Fleischman (Edward) and Ellen F. Evans (Peter); adoring grandmother of Paul, Kyle and Jamie Evans and Thomas Cochrane; dear sister of John P. Kiernan (Jean) and the late Robert E Kiernan, Jr. (Patricia).
