Mary Hickey

Mary Cecelia Hickey, age 49, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 20, 2017. Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of Mary C. Malen (nee McDevitt) (the late Eli) and the late Thomas J. Hickey.



Mary was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, where she was the "Prendie Panda" mascot, and was also a graduate of Eastern College. She was employed as Nursing Instructor for Deveraux and also for Bayada Nurses.



Mary loved her family, her dog, enjoyed playing tennis, had a wonderful sense of humor, and also enjoyed spending time in Sea Isle City and Stone Harbor, NJ.



In addition to her mother, Mary is survived by her siblings Rosemary Thomas (Glenn) and Daniel Hickey (Judi), her nieces and nephews Glenn, Jeffrey, Thomas, Rosemary and Kimberly and many cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Hickey (the late Sharon).
