Mary C. Hoguet (nee Dickson) age 93, passed away November 11, 2014 in Downingtown, PA.
Born to Irish immigrant parents, she enjoyed painting, entertaining friends and family, and serving as a Eucharistic Minister in her church.
She is preceded in death by her three sisters, daughter-in-law, Toni, and her loving husband of 58 years, Eugene J. Hoguet.
A devoted mother, she is survived by her six children Eugene J. (Jo), Francis R. (Cookie), Robert G. (Kitty), George F., Moira A. (Lee McGarrity) and John M. (Hercules).
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hoguet was known by all as compassionate, caring, generous, nurturing, and accepting. Visitation will be held November 15 at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 460 Manor Avenue, Downingtown. Internment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory to Holisticare Hospice, 1131 Lancaster Ave., Berwyn, PA 19312; to the Humane Society, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, DC 20037 or to St. Joseph's Indian School, 130 N. Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57325 are appreciated.
