Mary E. "Bette" Howard (nee Weger), age 96, of Media, PA passed away on December 3, 2015.
Born in 1919 in Madison, WI, Bette was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (McCann) and Frank Weger.
Bette was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid golfer, bowler and bridge player. She also enjoyed playing the organ, composing her own music, and painting.
Bette was the beloved wife of the late Quentin W. Howard; loving mother of Quentin W. Howard, Jr. and his wife Ginny of Exton, PA; loving grandmother of Nichole M. Howard and Kimberly A. Howard; dear sister of Pauline Goebel and her husband, Leo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her large Wisconsin family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063, followed by her Memorial Mass 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to "Committee to Benefit the Children at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children", 263 S. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 or online at www.cbckids.org.
