Mary Ann Keenan

Mary Ann Keenan, age 85, of Havertown PA, passed away on December 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Mary Ann was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Keenan.  Loving mother of Mary Anne McDevitt (Jack), John (Lori), Joe (Julie), Mike “Dykel” (Shelia), Pat (Missy), Dan (Shannon), Kathy Lanciano (Steve), Eileen Hunter (Scott), Kevin (Tina) & Brian “Bunz” (Colleen). Dear Sister of Kathleen Manning (the late Frederick), Nora Berkery (the late Dan) & the late Josephine McLaughlin. Also survived by her 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her granddaughter Jordan Keenan.

Born in Philadelphia, Mary Ann was one of four Kilcourse girls born to John and Anne.  Mary Ann attended St. Francis De Sales elementary school, earning a scholarship to Villa Maria Academy in Malvern, where she graduated as the salutatorian.

Always the center of her family, Mary Ann lived to bring joy to those around her. Whether it’d be dinner at 1516, summer weekends in Sea Isle, or countless trips to Disney World, Mary Ann made sure to provide moments of happiness for loved ones. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 and 8:45-10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home,  8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083. Interment St. Denis Cemetery.
