Mary Kelly

Mary T. Kelly, 87, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on May 4, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1934, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (McDonnell) Burke.

Mary held several occupations over her long career and at one time was employed as a bookkeeper with Wawa, Inc. She had a strong Irish heritage and enjoyed traveling to Ireland to visit friends and relatives.  Mary also enjoyed gardening and her home was always filled with a variety of flowers and plants.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late James A. Kelly Jr.; loving mother of Colleen O’Neill (Chuck), Stephen (Julie), Barbara Platt (Lawrence) and Michael (Denise); dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; dear sister of John Burke (Barbara), Jane Jones (John) and Gerry McCall (the late Bill); sister-in-law of Kathy Kelly. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friend are invited to visit her family 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA followed by her Memorial Mass 11:00 AM.
