Mary L. Kiefer

Mary L. Kiefer, 93, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of Newtown Square, PA, passed away March 16, 2023.

Born March 10, 1930 in San Benito, TX, she was a daughter of the late Pedro Lemos Lozano and Maria Jesus Gutierrez Gonzalez Lozano.

Mary enjoyed crocheting blankets, hats, scarves, and anything else she could for her family. She loved to cook wonderful Mexican food recipes, baking Christmas cookies, and consistently had fresh homemade tortillas at the ready for family gatherings. She was always willing and cherished each opportunity to help care for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was straight forward and feisty but always with a warm heart.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Kiefer; loving mother of Joel H. Payton, Sr., Susie Devine Parris, and Robert Kiefer; adoring Mom-Mom of Jennifer M. Morris, Stefanie Payton, Joel H. Payton, Jr., Lisa Downey, Jason Clark, Lindsey Jensen, Bobby Kiefer, and Darby Kiefer; and proud great mom-mom of Seth Payton, Ethan Payton, Sarah Jones, Caleb Downey, Emily Downey, Charles Downey, Erin Downey, Bohdi Clark, Nicoli Jensen, Karli Jensen, and Mikey Jensen. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Clark. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, March 27, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.
