Mary Kozy

Mary A. Kozy (nee Flanagan), 99 years young, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 26, 2022.   Born in Aughadreena, Stradone, County Cavan, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Annie Flanagan (nee Kerr).

Mary loved reminiscing about her childhood running through the green fields of Aughadreena.  She was a trustworthy, strong, loving, reliable and faithful woman.  She loved her family and spending time with them.

Mary enjoyed her daily walks and spending time on the beach in Ocean City, NJ.  She loved to feel the warmth of the sun on her face.

Mary enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, talking and spending time with her friends, sewing, knitting, and loved her dogs, Sandy, Bailey and Simba.  She enjoyed desserts with her meals.   She always felt it was important to be the best you could be.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Kozy and her brothers, Patrick, Peter and John Flanagan.   She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Ann Kozy, her dear granddaughter, Marilynne Noelle Kozy and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, February 1, 2022 9:30-10:20 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory to St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church at the above address would be appreciated.
