Mary Teresa Catherine O'Brien Gudijonis Lawser, 86, died peacefully on July 10, 2015 at Barclay Friends in West Chester, PA.
Born in 1928 in Woodlyn, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Joseph O'Brien and Hannah Josephine (Higgins) O'Brien.
A 1946 graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA, Mary worked her entire career at the Pennsylvania Railroad offices as a clerk and lived most of her adult life in Cherry Hill, NJ, where she was an active member of St. Peter Celestine Parish.
Mary is pre-deceased by her brother, Joseph Aloysius O'Brien, sister, Sarah O'Doherty, first husband, Vincent "Bill" Gudijonis, and her late husband, Bob Lawser. She is survived by 12 nieces and nephews she lovingly referred to as "her kids".
Mary enjoyed life fully, and was very active playing tennis, golf, bowling, dancing, entertaining and traveling to the casino. She especially enjoyed time with family and friends and was the life of the party. Her laughter, sense of humor and vibrant personality will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:45-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14th at St. Laurence Church, 8245 W. Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to her Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
