Mary M. Miller (nee Kane), age 68, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on February 8, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Madeline Kane (nee Leap). She was employed as a Bookkeeper for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in Catholic Social Services.
Mary was a very strong, life-long Catholic. She loved spending time with her family, reading, cooking, visiting Ocean City, NJ with her husband, history, traveling, and watching classic movies, especially film noir. She loved the movies "Gone With The Wind", "The African Queen", "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Guys and Dolls". She also enjoyed going to the theater. She used to perform in plays when she was a teenager growing up in Roxborough and Manayunk.
She enjoyed her cats, reading Agatha Christie novels, and British comedies and shows. In addition to traveling with her husband, she enjoyed going to Gettysburg, PA and the Philadelphia Art Museum.
Mary was the beloved wife of Franklin Miller, the loving mother of Ian M. Miller and Frank L. Miller (Claire), her granddaughter, Tabatha Miller and her best friend, Maryanne. She was predeceased by her brother, James Charles Kane.
