Mary Ellen "Penny" McDevitt (nee Hartman), age 75, of Glenmoore, formerly of Malvern, passed away on April 27, 2015.
Born in Lancaster in 1939, she was the daughter of the late Margeurite and Henry Hartman. Penny attended Notre Dame High School in Moylan.
Penny enjoyed camping, fishing, making jewelry, and playing blackjack. She loved to travel and visit the shore. Penny especially loved being with her family.
Penny was the beloved wife of James C. McDevitt; the loving mother of James C McDevitt (Doreen), Janice A. Shenberger (Charles), Thomas F. McDevitt, Michael P. McDevitt (Heather), and Penny Kubin (Nicholas); the loving grandmother of Danielle, Charles, Kelsey, Brad, Courtney, Nicole, Shawna, Taylor, Jimmy, Brooke, Ashley, Michael, Reagan, and Kylie: great-grandmother of Wyatt and Charlotte; and the dear sister of Sonia Leighton, Catherine Laudato (Roc), and the late Gail Haly.
