Mary Rita O’Neill, of Exton, PA, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2020.
Born November 19, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Agnes O’Neill.
Mary Rita formerly worked as an elementary school teacher for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She then began a long career as an office manager in the healthcare field.
Mary Rita was also a long-time, active member of Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish in Bryn Mawr. Mary Rita’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, and she was the best provider of cakes and pies for every celebration.
Mary Rita is survived by her loving and dedicated cousin, Francis X. McDonald (Anne Marie) of West Chester, 10 cherished nieces and nephews, and 23 beloved great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her cousins James McDonald (Gertrude) and William McDonald (Patricia).
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 8:30-9:30 AM Tuesday, June 23rd at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
