Mary M. Ranaudo (Nee Nierintz), or "Marge" as she was known, 76, of Westtown Township, passed away following a brave battle with cancer on June 10th at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.
Marge was the beloved wife of A. Joseph Ranaudo, Jr.; loving mother of Joseph F. Ranaudo, Mary M. Ranaudo-Somers, and Andrew J. Ranaudo, Sr. (Jeanine); dear grandmother of Philip J. Ranaudo, Megan K. Somers and Michaela C. Somers, Andrew J. Ranaudo, Jr. and Kathryn J. Ranaudo. She is also survived by her siblings Michael Bonner, and Susan Nierintz Griffith.
She was a Philadelphia native but grew up in the Highland Park section of Upper Darby, PA. Her parents were the late Charles H. Nierintz and Cecelia T. Huke.
Marge was a 1955 graduate of Haverford High School and a 1958 graduate of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media for over thirty years. She was the charge nurse in the emergency room and also served as a relief nursing supervisor.
Marge was a founding parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Westtown.
