Mary Teresa Travers

Mary Teresa Travers (nee Kennedy), age 94, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on July 7th, 2024. Born in Castlegregory, County Kerry, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Kennedy (nee Daly).

Mary never forgot her Irish roots and loved to hear Irish music. Although she made a wonderful life for herself and her family, Ireland always had a piece of her heart.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late James J. Travers; loving mother of Maureen Travers (the late Angel Pagan); adoring grandmother of Nicole, James, and Shannon Pagan. She was predeceased by her siblings, Eileen Simpson (nee Kennedy), James Kennedy, Kathleen Wheeler (nee Kennedy), Sean Kennedy, and Margaret Mansell (nee Kennedy).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
