Mary Louise Tye (nee Berrodin), age 63, of Media, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on January 17, 2016. Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of Frank and the late Edith Berrodin (nee Reagan).
Mary Louise was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield, PA and a graduate of Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Lankanau Hospital.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her beloved husband James Tye, her loving children Krista Tye and Jamie Tye-Houser (Matthew) and her granddaughters Ava and Madeleine Houser. Also survived by her siblings Frank Berrodin, John Berrodin, Katherine Hoch, James Berrodin and Louis Berrodin and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, January 19, 2016 7:00-9:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and Wednesday, January 20, 2016 10:00-11:00 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Oblates of St. Francis deSales, P.O. Box 87, Childs, MD 21916 would be appreciated.
