Mary B. Walker (nee Barry), 83, of Downingtown and formerly of Southwest Philadelphia and West Chester passed away on September 18, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice.
Born in Philadelphia in 1930, Mary was the daughter of Regina Maria (McNeil) and Redmond Barry, both deceased.
She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Immaculata College.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late James J. Walker, Sr.; loving mother of James J. Walker, Jr. (Jane) of Downingtown, William J. Walker (Debbie) of Coatesville, Michael P. Walker of Downingtown, Anne M. Cassidy (Michael) of Downingtown, and Maria R. Leach (Bayard) of Jennersville; loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and dear sister of James, Redmond "Bud" and John Patrick Barry.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday and to her Memorial Mass 11:00 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
