Mary E. "Mary Beth" Weeks

Mary E. “Mary Beth” Weeks, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Clifton Heights passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 26, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Marcella (née Cummings) Ganzelli.

 A graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, Mary Beth carried with her a spirit that was both prayerful and faithful to the Lord. Her unwavering faith illuminated her life and profoundly influenced those around her. Whether it was through a warm smile or a kind word, she maintained a positive disposition, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Mary Beth was an incredibly loving and selfless person whose life's purpose was embodied in the joy and well-being of her family. She was always there for her children and grandchildren, demonstrating a level of commitment and care that was truly remarkable.

Mary Beth was the beloved wife of 53 years of the late James Weeks; the loving mother of Lori Ferkler, James Weeks (Denise), Karen Weeks (Scott), Patty Weeks, and Katie Yangello (Nick). She was the proud and loving grandmother of Aaron, Naaman, Siena, Sophia, Jayden, Jayla, Lucia, Jazmine, Alice, Gia, and Caleb, as well as the cherished great-grandmother of Alice Ferkler. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanie Iannello (Steve), and her brothers, John Ganzelli, Bob Ganzelli (Suzanne), and Joe Ganzelli (Carolyn), as well as being the “favorite aunt” of too many nieces and nephews to count! Mary Beth is predeceased by her brother, Thomas Ganzelli.

Family and friends are invited to honor Mary Beth’s life beginning with a Visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2025, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
