Mary Alice Dougherty

Mary Alice Dougherty of Havertown, PA age 77, passed away on April 30th . Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward (Ray) and Mildred Mulhern.  She was employed as a receptionist at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School from 1982 -2000. She enjoyed her job, especially the students.  She also enjoyed summers in Avalon NJ with family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Dougherty for 50 years.  Dear mother of Joseph B. Dougherty, Robert L Dougherty (Colleen Faulkner) and Mary Alice Dougherty Ritchie (William). Grandmother of Claudia, Liam, Bridget, Robert Jr, Tyler, Thomas and Colin.

In accordance with the CDC’s current restrictions on gatherings due to COVID-19, all services will be held privately.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Joe Beretta Foundation at www.thejoeberettafoundation.com  Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
