Maryann G. Klein Obituary

November 11, 1943 - October 3, 2020

Maryann Graham Klein, 76, of Havertown, PA, passed away on October 3, 2020.  Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Mary Talarico Graham.

Maryann was the beloved mother of Pamela Klein-Farrow and Laura Klein; and adoring grandmother of Samantha, Rebecca (Becca), and Jessica (Flower) Farrow.

Maryann grew up in Philadelphia surrounded by a close knit and loving extended family. Maryann was class president of St. Cecilia Academy, and met Randy Klein at a church dance.  Maryann went onto Temple University and became a dedicated and beloved pre-school teacher who taught at Rabbit Hill Nursery School for over 30 years.  Maryann loved the outdoors and found joy admiring the flowers at Longwood Gardens, listening to the breaking waves at LBI, and watching the wildlife in her backyard.  Maryann loved to travel, especially visiting her granddaughters, daughter Pam, and son-in-law Rob in Seattle & daughter Laura in New York City.  Maryann loved life dearly and cherished her friendships.

Out of an abundance of caution, a celebration of life memorial will be planned for 2021.  Funeral & internment will be held privately for immediate family on Friday, October 9th.  Following interment, family and friends are invited to pay respects at the Memorial Prayer Garden located at the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, 356 Summit Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center - Patient Services and Special Needs Fund, would be appreciated.
