MaryAnn Yoegel

MaryAnn Geraldine (nee Arceri) Yoegel, age 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on February 12, 2021, under hospice care. She was the wife of the late William John Yoegel. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on February 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Girolama (nee Augello) Arceri.

After graduating high school, she worked for Singer Corporation in New York City. MaryAnn also taught private piano lessons, including two students who went on to study at The Juilliard School. After moving to Long Island, NY, she was crowned Miss Amity Harbor. After her family relocated to West Chester, PA, MaryAnn became a highly-ranked, competitive tennis player at the Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn, PA. She also was a talented seamstress and home decorator. She enjoyed hosting progressive dinners, playing golf, Bridge, and Mah Jongg, and cooking Thanksgiving dinners for her immediate and extended families.

MaryAnn is survived by her five children, Maryann Fisher (Thomas), William Louis (Julie), Eric Paul (Regina), Richard Edward (Tracey), and Robert Joseph (Maryellen) as well as nine grandchildren. She is predeceased by one brother, John Louis Arceri of Danbury, CT.

Due to the Coronavirus, a private ceremony for immediate family members is being planned.
