Mary Jane Newman

Mary Jane Newman (nee Noll), of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on October 13, 2021.

Born in Wilkinsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Agnes (nee Lyden) Noll. Mary Jane was a graduate of Mount Mercy College (now Carlow University) in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was active in the Women's Club of Saint Andrew's Catholic Church in Drexel Hill, PA while her children attended school there.  After raising her children, she worked as a substitute teacher and as a library aide.

Beloved wife of the late James T. Newman.  Loving mother of James C. (Carol), John P. (Andrea), Thomas M. (Arlene), William E. (the late Lidia), Marianne Galligan (John) and Paul J. (Jamee). Devoted grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother, Charles L. Noll (Alice).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 9:00 – 10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
