Matthew A. Boyd, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2018.
Born in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, in 1982, he was the beloved son of Kathleen W. (nee White) and the late Gerald A. Boyd.
Matt was the devoted father of MaKayla Boyd, Hope Lauber, and Giana Boyd; dear brother of Michael J. Boyd and the late Michelle DiMattei and uncle to Kevin Smith.
Matt loved his daughters and family and was considered a great friend by many. He was a dedicated worker and was active in the recovery community for addiction in Philadelphia. Matt enjoyed sports and was an avid Eagles fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7-9 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, and 10-10:50 AM Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment private.
