Matthew H. Carr

Matthew H. Carr, age 36, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away suddenly on April 2, 2022.   Born in Drexel Hill, PA, he was the son of Harry F. and Maureen T. Carr (nee Thomas).  

Matthew was employed as a Veterinary Technician.  

Matthew loved adventure, taking his Prius to 48 states visiting National Parks, which also included going to Canada and Africa.  His love for his family, girlfriend, animals, and nature is what he lived for. Matthew is now on his next adventure with his best buddy, Diesel.

Matthew was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend, and loving boyfriend.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by his siblings, Brian H. Carr and Jaclyn M. Carr, his grandmother, Marie Carr, his girlfriend, Olivia Dibble, and his aunts and uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Thursday, April 7, 2022 10:30 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA.   Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Matthew’s memory to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton, PA 19529 would be appreciated.
