Maureen F. Doran

Maureen (Hagan) Doran, 74, of Honey Brook, PA and formerly of Philadelphia, Glenolden, and West Chester, PA passed away on May 30, 2024 after a long illness battling cancer.

After 18 years as a Chester County Court of Common Pleas Judicial Secretary Maureen retired in 2016. In the 1980's Maureen was employed at the U of PA Medical School (DLAM and IFEM). She enjoyed scrapbooking and was a Creative Memories Consultant for 16 years. She also enjoyed being a Regional Advisor for Alpha Mid Atlantic and helped run the Alpha Course at SS. Simon and Jude Church for 14 years helping people discover, develop or deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ through participation in the Course. Maureen was also an active volunteer at SS. Peter and Paul Parish in West Chester.

Born in Philadelphia in 1950, the eldest of ten children, Maureen was the daughter of Marie (nee Mitchell) and John J. Hagan, Jr., both deceased. She was predeceased by her sister Kassie DiGiorgio Vannoy and brothers Michael and Dennis Hagan. She is predeceased by her husband, John J. Doran, Jul 31, 2023. She is survived by son Brian Doran (Dr. Lorri Wilson), daughter Shannon Doran Feola (Michael), sister Susan Hagan, brothers Jack (Annmarie), Rob (Dr. Karen Squire), Bill (Lori), Chris (Maureen) and Dan (Cathy) Hagan, grandchildren Madison and Abby Feola, Scarlett and Hazel Doran, step-children Diana and Johanna Doran, step-grandchildren Joseph and Josie Doran, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 E. Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
