Maureen Lucas

Maureen K. “Mo” Lucas, 61, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on October 19, 2019.

Born in Darby, PA in 1958, she was the daughter of the late Albert F., Sr. and Kathleen E. (nee Becker) Stumm. Maureen was an active member of many organizations, including the Coast Guard Auxiliary-FSO-Finance, FSO-Materials, SO-Operations, the Eagle National Bank Walk/Run for 24 years, the Afghanistan and Iraq Outreach Program, the Special Olympics as a coach, St. Demetrios Greek Festival, Little Flower Manor, as well as many other charitable organizations.

Maureen was the loving mother of Melissa “Misty” Rice (Sergio); dear sister of Eugene Stumm, Denise Garrity (Hugh), Brian Stumm (Joanne), and Nadine Stumm; predeceased by her siblings, Albert Stumm, Jr. (the late Leona), Kathleen Stumm, Kevin Stumm, and Gerard Stumm (Larraine); also survived by her former sisters-in-law, Lee Petzelt and Connie Mussey, 19 nieces and nephews, 25 grand nieces and nephews, and too many friends to count.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6-8 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 and 8:30-10 AM Saturday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment private.
