Maynard F. Sanders, 88, died peacefully September 10, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was a proud fifty year resident of Wayne, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of 53 years of the late Diana Rafuse Sanders.
Born January 4, 1927 in Bristol, Pennsylvania, the son of the late John R. Sanders and Anna Mae Smith Sanders, and the brother of the late Evelyn Sanders Pleins, the late Robert J. Sanders and the late Jack R. Sanders.
He grew up in Upper Darby, graduating from Upper Darby High School. He was a member of the U.S. Army from 1945-46. He was a District Sales Manager of the Illinois Central Railroad until retirement, and held many part-time jobs until age 83.
