Melena Ayjian (nee Der Hagopian), age 86, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 3, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Sarope and Varter Der Hagopian (nee Baghdasarian). Melena was employed as a dressmaker.
Melena is survived by her children Michael (Celeste) Ayjian, Patricia (Gordon) Smith and Terry (Tiana) Ayjian, her brother Larry (Jeanette) Der Hagopian, her grandchildren Zachary, Edward, Michael, Simone, Vi, Andy, and Luke and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Ayjian.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, July 10, 2013 10:00-11:00 AM SS Sahag and Mesrob Church, 630 Clothier Road, Wynnewood, PA followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to SS Sahag and Mesrob Church at the above address would be appreciated.
