Mia Morrow departed this life on September 5, 2017. Mia was born on November 3, 1937 in South Korea.
Mia worked in Administration for the United States Government for many years. She started working while in Korea for the United States Army. Once moving to the United States she worked at the Philadelphia Naval Base for 30 years. Mia retired in September, 1995. She enjoyed a few years of retirement life helping out with her grandchildren when they were babies. However, she then chose to return to work on a part time basis at Penn Valley Elementary School in Lower Merion. She retired this past July after 15 years of service.
Mia was a glowing illustration of unconditional love. Through her passion and dedication to her family, Mia planted the seeds that cultivated a legacy of love. On July 26, 1966, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Leonard Morrow. They shared 51 years of marriage together and their love was truly made in Heaven.
Left to continue her legacy are her husband, Leonard Morrow, her daughters Julie O'Keefe and her husband, Patrick, Linda Williams and her husband, CJ, as well as her beloved grandchildren Jake Williams, Connor O'Keefe, Molly O'Keefe, Grace Williams and Jackson O'Keefe.
A Celebration of Mia's Life will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at The First Presbyterian Church of Lansdowne.
