Michael Alan Astrino, 58, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 22, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 33 years, Tina (née Coll) Astrino, his children, Michael and Andrew, his parents Michael and Lois (née Allan) Astrino, and sisters, Diana DeGothseir, Linda Mellon, Joanne Kopanski-Armstrong, brother-in-law Sean, mother-in-law, Karen Coll, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Michael lived a happy and fulfilling life. He grew up in Briarcliffe, PA and met Tina when he was 20 years old. Together, they started a family and raised Michael and Andrew in Springfield, PA. Michael worked at the Wayne Post Office as a letter carrier where he was employed for over 37 years to support his family. He loved travelling on family vacations and watching Michael and Andrew play sports. He was a huge Philadelphia sports fan and loved watching the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. Three years ago, he bought his dream home in Lewes, Delaware, where he loved to bring his family and friends to hang out by the pool, go on walks, and play pickleball. Spending time with his family and friends was most important to him. He loved playing with his nieces and nephews, and being with his wife, children, parents, sisters, and friends.
Michael had a special kind of quick-witted humor and could make anyone laugh. He was selfless and would do anything for his family and friends. He always did what was right and set an exceptional example. He will be missed by so many.
