Michael J. Donnelly, Sr., 61, of Downingtown, passed away on October 4, 2015.
Born in 1954 in Drexel Hill, he was the son of the late Victorine (nee Justis) and Thomas Donnelly. Michael worked as the VP of sales and co-owner of Wayne Moving and Storage. He enjoyed travelling and spending time with his grandkids. He was a very generous person who loved Philadelphia sports.
Michael was the beloved husband of Suzann (nee McGarity); loving father of Michael J., Jr. (Joy) and Thomas D.; grandfather of Tommy, Ryan, Michael, Taylor, and Lily; brother of Marie Aly (Ahmed); uncle of Rob, BJ, Dave, Ryan, Katie, Christopher, Patrick, Hayley, Jared, Jake, Dan, Matt, Eric, Ashly, and Mark; and brother-in-law of Jane McDivitt, Elizabeth Hargadon (James), Kathy Summers, Meg Swanson (Chris), and Daniel McGarity (Cheryl).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, October 8 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA, 610-269-3080, and to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Friday at St. Joseph's Church, 338 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to Downingtown Little League, PO Box 165, Downingtown, PA 19335.
