Michael S. Heleva

Michael S. Heleva, 66, of West Chester, PA passed away on January 10, 2023. 

Michael was born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore and Anna (née Kolarik) Heleva. He graduated from Bryant University, where he earned his BS in Business and majored in Management. He married the love of his life, the late Patryce J. (née Wilson) Heleva, in Detroit, Michigan with a wonderful reception across the bridge in Windsor, Canada in 1981 and they settled down in Pennsylvania shortly after.

Michael worked at Mack Trucks as the General Manager/Director of Operations for over 30 years. He was a hardworking lifelong automotive professional and genuinely loved his work.

Michael was always impeccably dressed, very knowledgeable, a compassionate man and a great conversationalist who enjoyed a good debate. He also liked golf, shuffleboard and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. Michael was the happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends.

Michael was the loving father of Jason Heleva (Stefanie) and Jenae Quirk (Daniel); proud, doting grandfather of Leona, Violetta, Addison and Logan; dear brother of Matthew Heleva (Patti). He will be sorely missed by all.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
