Michael J. Kelly, Sr. January 27, 1950-October 28, 2022

Michael Joseph Kelly, Sr. was welcomed into the arms of our heavenly father on October 28, 2022.

Mike was born on January 27, 1950 in Darby and grew up in East Lansdowne, PA.

Mike attended Monsignor Bonner High School where he graduated in 1968. It was during that time that Mike met and fell in love with Joyce Marie, the love of his life. Mike and Joyce were married for 49 years and shared a love for one another and their family.

Mike worked hard his entire life to support his family and eventually started his own business. While he worked hard, he always made time to be with all of his family and attend all of their events and activities.

Mike had a great sense of humor, but he was also such a great support and comfort for his loved ones. He was generous, kind, and a loving Dad and the best Pop ever. He was happy with the great life he lived and he loved his family so much. We know he is in heaven happy to be reunited with Joyce. In the words of Mike Kelly himself “ Not a bad life for a guy from East Lansdowne.”

Mike is survived by his three children, Tracey Johnson (Steve), Michael Kelly, Jr. (Kristin), and Joanne Carnevale (Jay); his grandchildren Steven (Sam), Mickey, Michael III (Grace), Chris, Elle-Marie, Joey, Ava, Lillian, and Matt; his great-grandchildren Kayden and Mackenzie; his siblings John Kelly and Patricia Gallagher.

He was predeceased by his wife Joyce Kelly, his parents John and Eleanor Kelly (née McGee), and his baby brother Stephen.

The services and interment will be private.
