Michael James McNicholas "Nick" passed away at his home surrounded by his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born in Philadelphia on September 23, 1969, Nick grew up to be a beloved member of the community, known for his kind heart and great sense of humor.

Nick wore many hats during his lifetime. He worked as a business ops specialist for Quest Diagnostics, bringing his expertise and dedication to the workplace. Additionally, he lent his talents as a bartender at the Crossbar in Havertown, PA, where he not only served drinks but also brightened the atmosphere with his infectious personality.

Educated at Sacred Heart Grade School in Manoa, PA, and Cardinal O'Hara High School, Nick valued learning and personal growth. His proudest accomplishment was being active on the Athletic Board for Annunciation CYO, demonstrating his commitment to youth sports and community involvement.

Outside of work and volunteer activities, Nick found joy in simple pleasures like spending time with family and friends. He was an avid golfer who cherished the annual Havertown Ryder Cup as an opportunity to bond with his loved ones over a shared passion.

Nick is survived by his loving family: his wife Kyle (née Cain) McNicholas; children Mikayla, Kevin, Colin, Aidan, Finn, Ryan; Pop to Stella; brother Kevin (Kim) McNicholas; nieces Ashley Murray (Dan Gayeski) and Alexis (Joe) D’Antonio; mother-in-law Rose Cain (the late Kevin) ; brother-in-law Kevin Cain. Also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Michael and Loretta (nee Jennings) McNicholas.

A man who touched the lives of many with his warmth and humor, Nick will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The memory of his laughter and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Viewing to celebrate Nick's life will be held at The Donohue Funeral Home in Upper Darby on Friday, April 5th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will take place at Annunciation BVM Church in Havertown on Saturday, April 6th at 10:00 AM followed by his Interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield at 11:30 AM.

In honor of Nick's memory, let us remember to cherish our time with loved ones and find joy in the simple moments that make life truly special.
