Michael E. "Mick" Melanson, age 18, suddenly on September 19, 2015.
Beloved son of Denise Melanson (nee Maychak) and William L. Melanson; loving grandson of Kathleen B. (nee Tygh) Maychak (the late Paul S.) and Catherine Melanson (the late William A.); stepbrother of Amber Melanson; dear nephew of Dan, Kathy M., and Paul P. Maychak; cousin of Allie, Maddie, Anna, Patrick and Caroline Maychak.
Mick was a 2015 graduate of Downingtown West High School. He was accepted to PSU Brandywine and recruited as Soccer goalie. He was a huge Philadelphia Union fan. He was very loving and caring to everyone he met.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 610-431-9000 and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 would be appreciated.
