Michael "Mike" Stillman: A Life Well Lived
Michael "Mike" Stillman, a decorated combat veteran of the United States Army and, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
Mike proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. Throughout his life, he embodied the values of honesty, bravery, and unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Stillman who was the love of his life, and their children, Michael Stillman Jr., Brian (Patricia) Stillman, and Jennifer (Michael) Mignone. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Zachary Mignone, Carolyn (Matthew)Tiffin, Adam Stillman, Alexis Mignone, Michael Stillman III, Rachael Stillman, Gabrielle Stillman, and his precious great-grandchild, Nixon Rogers.
Mike was a true Philadelphia Eagles fan, with a passion for lively political discussions. He enjoyed unwinding with classic rock, particularly Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and The Cure. An avid reader who loved a good word puzzle, Mike found solace in gardening, bird watching, and spending time with loved ones. He cherished memories of his 67 Corvette, travels, and countless meals at his favorite restaurants.
Mike's dedication extended beyond his family. He actively supported organizations like Tunnels to Towers Foundation, Paws for Purples Hearts, VFW, and the Disabled American Veterans.
Mike will be remembered for his genuine spirit, honesty, bravery, and unwavering love for his family. He was a proud man who left an everlasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and, in our hearts, forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Friday, April 19, 2024 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, PA 19070. Followed by Military Honors at 11:45am
In lieu of flowers, The Stillman family would like donations in Mike's memory, be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
