Michael V. Witt

Michael Vincent Witt, age 61, passed away on January 21, 2025. Beloved son of the late James and Mary (nee Riley) Allen.

Michael cherished his time spent with family and was a proud brother to Chuckie Allen and Terri Dugan (Shelley). He was also an adoring uncle to Charles Allen, Christina DiGiacomo, and Anthony Dugan, as well as great uncle to Bryce Allen and Giavana Moless. He was predeceased by his dear brother James Allen.

In his leisure time, Michael found joy in various activities such as playing pool, darts, gambling, golfing, and fishing. He had an undeniable passion for motorcycles, particularly Harley-Davidsons, which fueled many adventures. Over the years, he proudly earned trophies through his participation in dart competitions, showcasing his competitive spirit and talent. His connection to community was exemplified further by his involvement with The Irish Club, where camaraderie flourished.

Michael's influence and character were deeply impacted by Uncle Jim and Aunt Laura, whose roles in his life were significant. His faith in God was a cornerstone of his existence, providing him with strength and guidance throughout.

He was a man characterized by his loving and caring temperament, generosity, and a steadfast belief in faith. His life was marked by an unwavering commitment to help those around him, which earned him the deep affection of family and friends alike.

His last final gift of generosity was being an organ donor. The Gift of Life was instrumental in honoring his last wishes.

Family and friends are invited to Michael’s Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025, and 9:00-10:00 AM on, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
