Miguel A. Muniz, 90, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Augusta, GA, passed away March 8, 2019.
Born October 22, 1928 in Havanah, Cuba, he was the son of the late Francisco and Tomasa (nee Sotolongo) Muniz.
Miguel was the beloved husband of the late Ofelia (nee Arango) Muniz; the loving father of Jorge L. (Joanne) Muniz; adoring grandfather of Jennifer and James (Kian) Muniz; caring great-grandfather of Logan Muniz; and dear brother of Nancy (the late Pablo) Brito. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and Lisa Seward. He was predeceased by his 5 siblings: Julio, Kiki, Mirta, Marguerite, and Frank.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, and 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at St. Charles Borromeo, 3422 Dennison Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026, would be greatly appreciated.
