Mildred Burns

Mildred C. "Millie" Burns (nee Cook), age 83, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Burns. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Charles F. and Constance M. Cook Dougherty (nee Gallagher), she attended St. Gregory's Grade School and was a West Catholic Girls High School graduate, class of 1951.



She is survived by her daughters Kathleen L. Conroy and Donna M. Burns (Jim), her brother Charles F. Cook, her grandson Edward Robert Conroy, her sister-in-law Anna B. Heckler, many loving cousins and friends, as well as her granddog, "Zoey".



Millie loved animals, shopping sprees and time spent with family and friends, especially her "cousins' lunches".



Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on September 22, 9:30-10:30AM followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike,Upper Darby, PA. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
