Mildred E. Clendening (nee Kilgore), 95, of Downingtown, formerly of Glen Mills, passed away on May 16, 2016.
Born in 1921 in Rush, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Eugene (nee Huguenot) Kilgore. Mildred enjoyed bowling and gardening and she was a member of the gardening club of Glen Mills.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harry E. Clendening; the mother of Keith A. Clendening (Karen) and the late Harry D. Clendening; the grandmother of Stephanie Sitek, Jeffrey Clendening, John Haring and Dianne Edwards; and the great-grandmother of Nicholas and Andrew Haring.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, May 23, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
