Mildred G. Darlington

Mildred G. Darlington, age 99, of Cape May, NJ, passed away on June 7, 2023. Born in Darby, PA she was the beloved daughter of the late Lewis H. and Emily G. Darlington.

Mildred attended Upper Darby High School and graduated in 1941. After high school, she went on to Bucknell University to receive her Bachelor of Arts in 1945. Mildred graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work in 1952 with her Master of Social Work. Mildred was the District Supervisor for Family & Community Services of Delaware County and retired in 1983 after working there for 31 years. She moved from Lansdowne, PA to Cape May, NJ in 1983 to enjoy her retirement. Mildred was a member of The Beach Club of Cape May, The Cottagers’ Association, The Cape May County Duplicate Bridge Club, and Animal Outreach of Cape May County.
