Mona Martin

Mona A. Martin (nee Killip), age 86, of Elizabeth City, NC, formerly of Sharon Hill, PA, passed away on April 16, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Killip (nee Armitage). She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse.



Mona enjoyed ceramics, crafts, bird watching, gardening, traveling, and camping in the mountains. She also loved reading, old movies, Disney movies, flowers, of which roses were her favorite, and Southern Gospel music.



Mona was predeceased by her husband, Frederick S. Martin Sr. and her brother, Jim Killip. She is survived by her children Fred Jr. (Mary), Don (Gail), Kathi Sippel (Ken) and Bruce (Judy), her 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her siblings Joyce Roggio, Jack Killip and Ed Killip and many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, April 23, 2016 10:00-11:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
