Russom, Ernest W. Russom, Jr., age 93, of Springfield, PA, a 1938 graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys and 48 year Westinghouse engineer passed away on January 17, 2013. Preceded in death by his beloved wife K. Virginia Tarter Russom. Loving father of Ernest W. III (Lynn) of Highland Park, PA and Dennis (Elizabeth) of Springfield, PA. Cherished grandfather of Nelson, Perry, Michael, and Morgan. Ernie was a Navy veteran who served in the Pacific theater during World War II. He was proud to have worked on the development of the Nautilus prototype, first US nuclear submarine. He enjoyed being a seasonal resident of Wildwood Crest all his adult life, having bought his home when he was 21 years old. Long-time member and past board member of the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club. Relatives and friends are invited to Ernest's Life Celebration on Wed., January 23, 2013 from 9 to 10 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA and his Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 AM.
