Garcia Honorio T. Garcia, 76, of Holmes. Passed away at home on June 8, 2013. He was the husband of Mary Ada Armstrong Garcia. Born in Porac, Philippines. He joined the US Navy and came to the United States in 1960. After the Navy he worked at General Motors in Baltimore, MD until he began working for Eastern Airlines at the Friendship Airport. He was then transferred to Philadelphia International Airport and moved to Ridley in 1971 with his family. After Eastern shut down he worked for several airlines, including Kiwi Airlines in Newark, NJ. He retired from the Airlines and was working for Elliott Lewis (Airport Division) at the time of his death. Honorio enjoyed working in his garden, fixing cars and was an avid bowler for many years. Survivors: His wife of 51 years Mary Ada, his son Tony, daughter Mandy, son in law Vinnie, granddaughter Jordana, step grandchildren Carissa and Vince and a number of relatives and friends that loved him very much. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Honorio's Life Celebration Tuesday 6-8PM and Wednesday June 12, 2013 10-11AM at James F. Knoetgen of Morton, 746 Kedron AVe, (Rt. 420) Followed by his funeral service at 11AM. Interment will be private. Contributions: In lieu of flowers donations in Honorio's memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
