John (Jack) Joseph Dabagian, 75, of Upper Darby, PA passed away peacefully on July 1, 2017, surrounded by his wife and children.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (nee Wolfram) Dabagian.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (nee McGovern), loving father of Gregory (Nancy), Neil (Janet), Ellen (Tim) O'Connell, and Martha Beth (Brendan) Driscoll, dear brother of Teresa Fernes, Charles Dabagian Jr., and Rosemarie Ratcliff. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John, Caitlyn, Lauren, Colin, Brendan, Liam, Devin, Daniel, and Molly Kathleen.
Jack graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 1963 and Saint Joseph's Preparatory School in 1959. Jack taught Latin, French, and Spanish at Archbishop Kennedy (former Saint Matthew) and Cardinal O'Hara High Schools. He was an active member of the CBUA (Collegiate Baseball Umpire Association) and the PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday at 8:30 to 10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM meet at the St. Denis Cemetery office.
